EVELYN SHERRARD (nee PETERSEN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on July 18, 2000 at the age of 86, following a lengthy illness. She will be deeply missed by son Jack Rockhill (Irene) daughters, Marielee Nault (Elmer) and Margaret Watt (Peter) son-in-law Brian Johnstone, also 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Gothard Petersen; husband Edward; sister Babs Caulkin; daughter Adrienne Johnstone (Brian) and grandson Terrence Sherrard. Mom was born on September 28, 1913 in Rockwood, Man. She lived most of her life in Winnipeg until later in life when she retired in Woodridge. Following cremation, there will be a memorial service in Steinbach, Man. at Loewen Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #12, on Thursday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
